About

Research at the interface of computation and experiment

I am a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Rostock, working within the IFuEL project on laser-driven plasma sources, ion diagnostics, and the numerical interpretation of laser–matter interaction experiments.

My background spans accelerator physics, ion sources, kinetic and fluid plasma modelling, and scientific software development. I am particularly interested in linking numerical predictions to measurable plasma properties and using that connection to improve physical models and diagnostic methods.

Alongside my research at Rostock, I collaborate with Goethe University Frankfurt, including scientific guidance of Master's-level research, and continue work related to air-breathing electric propulsion (ABEP) and hybrid plasma simulation methods.
